Open House & Trunk Show
To show our appreciation to our customers, Ginny and Kim are planning a very special open house April 9 and 10 to celebrate their new location. They are proud to announce that at 1 p.m. on both of those days, there will be a two-hour trunk show presentation by Diane Gubbels titled, “Stories of Inspiration”. This presentation will be held at The Gathering Place just a block east of the Quilt’n Kaboodle shop.
Diane Gubbels is from Coleridge, Nebraska, and will be putting on a fantastic presentation guaranteed to be one you will not forget. She also will be showing a very special quilt made from navy uniforms that her friend wore during WWII at Pearl Harbor.
Because of this special show, 10 percent of all sales on April 9 and 10 will be donated
to wounded Veterans that have so generously given so much for all of us. The trunk
show and presentation will be followed by a social time and door prizes back at the
Quilt’n Kaboodle shop.
While you are in check out our new fabrics that have been arriving. We have many, many new basics along with a new western line from Maywood that just arrived. It is called Midnight Cowboy and has at least 20 bolts. We also have a new farm scene with the cutest coordinating fabrics that is going out the door fast! Some smaller lines have also been coming in.
We still have a little room in our Button Up Buttercup Class. Attached is a photo, although, unquilted at this time. This is a fun quilt and measures 70 by 70 for a nice sized throw. Button Up Buttercup easily goes together in a week end. If you are interested in this class held on Saturday, Feb 27 at 9 a.m. give us a call @ 712-225-3600.

Winter has been trying on all of us. Please, be sure to call ahead to check on classes or to see if we are open when the weather is less than cooperative
We were pleased to host the Marcus Go-Getters 4-H Club. As a club project members made pajama pants with the help of Sally Joines of Cherokee.    Thanks Sally for your help!
We have been ordering fabric like crazy! It all has different arrival dates so check in often.

Put your orders in now so they will be ready for Christmas or any special occasion
We also take orders for oak or pine quilt ladders, stands, bars and racks. Pull your quilts out of storage totes and boxes and display them for everyone to enjoy.
